Serves: 1 Cup
- 2 tightly packed cups fresh organic basil leaves
- 1-2 cloves roughly chopped, fresh organic garlic
- ¼ cup Organic hemp seeds
- 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ¼ cup organic olive oil
- 1/3 dropper of Procana CBD Balance 240mg or Procana CBD Complete 20mg
- Place the basil, garlic, and hemp seeds into a food processor fitted with the S blade. Pulse about 10 times, to help break down the basil.
- Add all rest of the ingredients. Process till smooth, adding an extra drizzle olive oil if needed to thin the pesto. Serve.
*You may titrate and play around with how many mg of CBD you would like for dosing.
- 1/3 dropper of 240 mg Procana CBD Balance = 8mg CBD
- 1/3 dropper of 600 mg Procana CBD Balance = 20mg CBD
Leftover Pesto can last upto 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge, it may be frozen for upto 1 month.
