DIY Recipe: How to Make a Matcha Latte | CBD-Infused Matcha Latte

CBD-Infused Matcha Latte

If you’ve ever experienced a caffeine headache then this article is for you.

Life is often very busy, but we still manage to find the time for our morning cup of coffee, knowing that if we don’t, the dreaded headache awaiting will be an undesirable reminder.

There is anywhere from 100-200mg of caffeine in a serving of coffee, giving you the feeling of being awake and energized. However, this is only a temporary effect and soon will wear off, leaving you more depleted. Your body will then begin to crave more caffeine to continue working at the same level of productivity.

CBD Oil Tinctures

Enter Matcha. Matcha is specifically processed green tea leaves ground to a fine powder. This trendy alternative has made its way onto our local stores and coffee shop menus with good reason. When consuming Matcha, you are also consuming the benefits of the leaves of the plant Camellia sinensis, including its minerals and antioxidants. 1 cup of Matcha tea offers approximately 10 times the nutritional benefits of 1 cup of regular brewed green tea. Matcha contains roughly 35mg of caffeine per half teaspoon. Also present is L-Theanine Phytonutrient, known for its stress relief properties, and for offering increased focus and better immunity. The caffeine from Matcha is stored in the body and slowly released over several hours, allowing your body to feel energized for a longer period of time and without a ‘caffeine crash’.

Matcha & CBD

Matcha taken in conjunction with CBD oil could seriously improve your coffee transition, offering fatigue and pain relief. Remember that any dietary evolution is a process and making small changes to your daily routine is a great kick-off. Opt for a Match Green Tea to start your morning for a healthy boost and limit to one cup of coffee in the afternoon (if you need it).
