  • Are Procana Hemp/CBD products legal?
    Yes, Procana Hemp derived products are legal to ship to all 50 states. The United States Farm Bill of 2014 classified Industrial Hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Procana products contain less than 0.3% THC. The final ruling of the 9th Circuit Federal Court (DEA vs. Hemp Industry Association in 2004), ruled in favor of the HIA concluding that the substances from Industrial Hemp are excluded from the definition of marijuana under 21 U.S.C 802 (16)- as “non-psychoactive hemp” and not classified under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).

  • Are Cannabis products legal?
    Yes, Cannabis products are legal in California and 28 States for either Medical or Recreational purposes, however the Federal Government classifies THC as a Schedule 1, under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), therefore not Federally Legal at this time.

  • What are Cannabinoids?
    Cannabinoids are active molecules that can be derived from either Cannabis or Agricultural Hemp.

  • What is CBD?
    CBD (cannabidiol) is the main prominent molecule out of the 80+ cannabinoids found in either Agricultural Hemp or Cannabis. CBD is non-pyschoactive, unlike its THC counterpart and plays a vital role in holistic applications.

  • What is the difference between Hemp & Cannabis?
    The difference come down to 1) Appearance 2) Chemical Makeup 3) Cultivation Environment. Hemp and cannabis are grown for different uses, and therefore require different growing conditions. Cannabis contains high levels of THC, whereas, Hemp contains little to no trace of the psychoactive chemical and is not classified under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).

  • What are terpenes?
    Terpenes are the oils that give plants and flowers their unique smell. When inhaled or digested, the terpenes act as an assistant to cannabinoids as they work to penetrate the blood-brain barrier and other potential holistic uses.

  • What is the difference between Hemp Seed Oil and Hemp Oil?
    Hemp Seed Oil comes from Hemp Seeds that is typically cold-pressed. It has a high content of Omegas and is a great alternative to fish oil which may be subject to mercury and radiation from the sea. Hemp seed oil contains all of the essential amino acids and also contains surprisingly high levels of the amino acid arginine (study)

    Hemp Oil is an extraction from agricultural hemp aerial plant parts and may contain phytocannabinoids.

  • Which Procana product is best for me?
    Each individuals Endocannabinoid system varies along with the number of cannabinoids and receptors. We suggest start with the lowest dosage and work your way up if needed. Observe the side effects and if necessary adjust the ratio or amount.

  • Will I pass a drug test if I am using Procana?
    Yes, our products are 100% Hemp derived and will not show up on a drug test.

  • My state has not legalized Cannabis, can I still use Procana?
    The United States Farm Bill Of 2014 classified Industrial Hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Procana products contain less than 0.03% THC. (court ruling)

  • Where are your raw materials sourced from?
    Our Hemp seed oil is sourced from Canada and our Hemp/CBD is sourced from Europe within the Czech Republic. Currently Europe is the leading producer of Hemp and importing these certified materials through customs

  • What is your extraction method?
    We use CO2 extraction. This method uses carbon dioxide under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to isolate, preserve, and maintain the purity of the oil.

  • Does Procana test for pesticides?
    Yes, we have a Certification of Analysis for each softgel, plus a chromatograph.

  • What are your products shelf life?
    The shelf life of all our products is about 18 months.

  • What is your return policy?
    Due to ingestible products we cannot accept returns for the risk of tampered products.
